Prince Arthur is a funky London pub which combines wood
paneled walls, 60's style furnishings and provocative art. It is the ideal size
for parties from 50 to 120 people, where you get the whole venue!
There is no hire charge for the pub, it is easy to get to -
and easy to get home from.
Usual information people wish to know when booking the pub
is:-
Licensing
We have a license until 2am already, if you want us to stay
open after 12am then you would need to pay for the taxis home for the staff
working (normally 2 people, £20 each which is the only charge). I would advise
for your invitations stating the party is from x pm until late, with last entry
at 10pm as otherwise your friends will go to another destination first and only
turn up at your party after 12am. That's is no good for you - and no good for
me.
Music
We have decks for vinyl here which you can borrow - or you
can bring your own. We don't currently have CD decks. You can also plug in an
ipod or mp3 player in to our system and play your own music. Our mixer allows
up to 4 devices to be plugged in. We can also make space for a dance floor.
Food
We have a fantastic team of resident chefs which can be
utilised for food if you would like. Also we have a buffet menu as well which
you can choose your items and enjoy. Whatever your budget we can fulfil your
needs. We would normally recommend for you to come up with a budget you are
happy with and work backwards from there.
Hire charge & Minimum Spend
There is no minimum spend, although you would need to get at
least 40 people here to hire the pub. Our capacity inside is 120, plus there is
seating outside for an additional 70 although it isn't currently covered. To
hold the pub for your booking we do process 1p against your credit card so you
have a receipt for the booking. If you do cancel the booking with less than 7
days notice there is a £200 cancellation fee.
Decoration
You can put up decorations as long as they don't cause
damage to the pub when putting up/taking down. They can be put up at the
beginning of the night (preferable) or we can give access in the day time
during a pre-arranged time slot.
